Sad to hear a critical component of cinema history has left us. Hal Douglas passed away earlier this month at the age of 89.

If you remember when movies were preceded in theaters with only advertisements for other movies, or if you watched television back when most of the shows were still scripted, you will recognize this voice.

I Am the Walrus is still one of my many favorite Beatles songs.

It turns out it is also radically awesome slowed down 800% as Jean Beaudin discovered and demonstrated with his 1969 short film Vestige. Much as you would expect, this movie is more odd than anything and is probably only significantly enjoyable if you are high on something.
