The event, which was part of International Peace Day, was organized to commemorate those Canadian, American, British and German citizens who lost their lives on D-Day. The gathered on Arromanches beach in Normandy, Frances to stencil images of fallen soldiers in the sand, only to have the tide wash them away at the end of the day.
