Ignorance is NOT Bliss

I found it distressing to see the large number of viewers that didn’t think this was racist. I can only assume that they are too young to know better and their parents are doing everything they can’t to make sure they never know.

And now to do the job no one else loved them enough to do. Here’s a short documentary on the re-opening of the Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University. They discuss the move to the new and larger location as well as introduce some new artifacts.

 

There’s an older documentary that talks a bit more about the objects in the museum and the history of those objects. It’s not easy to find. I found it at my local library, so you may get lucky there. This isn’t the best quality but here’s a peek.
