Abbey Road Studio

Built in the 1830s and converted into a recording studio in 1931, what we now know as Abbey Road studio was originally the Gramophone Company located at 3 Abbey Road in Westminster, London, England.

The Beatles recorded most of their material at this studio between 1962 and 1970. Abbey Road was released in 1969. The studio changed its name in 1970.
