Google Doodles

I really do get a little tickled and amused by the commemorative Google Doodles some of them are truly extraordinary.
Google doodles, the drawings that are designed on, around and through the Google logo on the home page, have long been part of Google's history since 2000 when then intern George Hwang began celebrating and marking worldwide events and holidays with doodles.

Albert Einstein’s birthday

FIFA world cup 2006

John F. Kennedy inaugural address (created with “Wordle” and including the full text of the speech)

Will Eisner’s birthday

Grandparents’ Day

Thanksgiving & Charles Schulz’s birthday

Beautiful Animations…
For John Lennon

For Martha Graham

Or the Interactive Google Pacman. Click Insert coin and use the arrow keys; press insert coin again to add Ms. PacMan and play her with the W,A,S, and D KEYS.

There’s even a Google Doodle museum online that’s far more fascinating than it should be. Click here for free admittance.
